I taught over 4.000 online lessons in Danish, one-on-one. I started teaching Danish online 6 years ago. Before then, I was teaching English (one-on-one) in China. I took several long and short time courses in teaching and studying techniques. I am supportive and patient to the extreme, but I only teach students who prepare for the lessons. With a well prepared student we change activity every 5 - 10 minutes. I can give help with efficient studying techniques.

I inherited my love for Danish as well as Ancient languages from my paternal grandmother, who was a Danish and History teacher herself for many years. With her, I developed a profound interest in teaching. Later, I had to study Latin almost on my own because very few people wanted to study it. I often felt stuck and thought about quitting, but I tried to find the patience and I explored different methods in order to learn. As a person, I am very patient, and for me, it is important that you feel comfortable showing me your difficulties and giving your opinion.

I'm adaptive to your needs and I always aim to keep the lessons relaxed. I take on a limited amount of students, to be able to better give you the attention and continuity needed for learning.

While I have no teaching credentials, I have great experience interacting with a lot of different people from various countries around the world. I know how to study foreign languages and can probably teach you how to learn a language more efficiently. As a tutor I can only show you the door to betterment; you must enter the door yourself.

Hej, jeg hedder Rasmus. Hyggeligt at møde dig! People usually describe me as fun and easygoing. And this is also how I like to teach. My lessons are informal and fun. I use many different study materials and methods in order to create variety. In this way I try to make my students look forward to every lessons. But of course every student is different, so I will make sure to adapt the lessons to suit your needs. I can teach the Danish language to anyone at any level as I have previously taught foreigners in all ages and levels Danish at language cafés and as a private tutor.

I am a laid back, patient and informal tutor who really wants to support your language learning journey in the best way possible. There won't be any strict teacher vibes here! I believe that positive encouragement is the best tool to help you learn and improve.

As a teacher I am very patient, I understand that learning a new language can be very overwhelming. It's really important for me to create a space where there is room to make mistakes and that it's okay if you do not pronounce the words perfectly. It is also important to me that we have fun in our lessons, so I promise you that you will be happier after our lessons, I see things positively and I give you funny info about the language and can for example tell what words there have several meanings. I am very creative with my teaching material, and am open to your suggestions for teaching if you find something that works better for you.

I really love sharing my passion for languages and I enjoy the most seeing how my students progress in their language studies. I speak slowly - as much as it can be a drawback in life, it is an asset in teaching, because this helps the student processing the language easier, at their own pace. I have formal education in all of the languages, so I know and I can help with grammar if you need. My main goal, though, is to help you improve your speaking skills. Having learned multiple languages makes it possible for me to understand the struggles in language learning and to offer clear explanations and concrete tips about different aspects of the language or the learning process itself.

When you're learning a new language, you automatically also gain knowledge about a new culture. It's like peeping into a whole new world! That is my main motivation for learning a new language - together with of course getting new best friends from all around the world. And the motivation only grows stronger when you move to a country where you don't understand anything at all! I always dive deep into the language that I'm learning. Every time I analyse some aspect of the new language, I find similarities to what I already know, and when I find these treasures, I can’t help to share them. I really love when something, which at first sight seemed very complex, to become rather simple.

I will be very patient since i've been learning various languages, so i know how difficult and frustrating it can be.

I strongly believe in passion-driven independent learning. So I hope you have a passion for learning Danish and are looking for a responsive tutor for assistance on your journey towards fluency. I cannot upload Danish into your head, but if you are ready to do some consistent work yourself, it's my experience that one can become proficient in Danish without attending any school.

I started teaching music at the age of 13 in a marching band, and I haven't stopped teaching since. Throughout my career, I have taught colleagues and customers in various settings and in multiple languages and I just really enjoy the process of helping people explore new things and gaining confidence in using them.

I can teach you English or Danish. I generally teach conversational classes, where I'll introduce grammar and new words/expressions as needed. I also teach you how to sound natural, whether it is in terms of the words you use or how you say them.
