As a teacher, I've been teaching languages since I was 20. In the first two years I taught English and then I realized how much fun and fulfillment I would get from teaching Arabic, my native language, to non-native learners. I believe the best way to learn a language is to love it. Yes, I learned English and Turkish this way. I started teaching Arabic by volunteering at Small Project Istanbul (SPI), an NGO which helps displaced Syrians in Istanbul. Many volunteers at SPI were interested in learning Arabic and I was a perfect match for them. They encouraged me to become a teacher as they believed in my teaching methods. That was the reason I began teaching on Italki in February, 2017. I am an easy going, flexible teacher. I enjoy being a community teacher because I prefer conversation to grammar which is why I am also working at Conversations Unbound: an NGO that connects students from America with Arabic.

I have always loved teaching, I really enjoy communicating knowledge and finding the best way to make the information as easy as possible and it is even something I can think of for my future career. As a teacher, I have had some experiences. I have been tutoring university students in different courses related to my field of study for 2 years now.
