Sébastien is a fantastic teacher - one of the best I have seen on iTalki. He is easy to talk to, friendly, and patient. His system of recording corrections on Google Sheets is extremely useful. Highly recommend!

Sébastien is superb! His command of all aspects of the French language is impressive. He is always prepared, and happy to adapt the lesson to the needs and desires of the student. My principal need is practice in conversation about any and all subjects — so that has been our focus. What I find exceptional about Sébastien is his ability to write down all words and phrases that I have trouble with on an Excel sheet during our Skype session without ever interrupting my flow. This optimizes my chance to practice speaking without interruption — yet provides me with excellent written feedback (including notes on words I may have mispronounced) that I can review after our session is done. I plan to continue my weekly French sessions with Sébastien indefinitely!

Finally the Y!

Sébastien has a very thoughtful documentation system where he records errors of sentence construction and individual key words. Not only does he take highly detailed notes, he also marks and bolds his notes to let me know where I've erred during my race to finish a thought. I am almost getting the benefit of a second class in reviewing these notes. Much appreciated. Additionally for those who are similar to me in the struggle between switching tongues, Sébastien is the perfect guide -- throw out whichever vocabulary that pops up in whichever tongue first, chances are Sébastien will catch it in the air and lead you back on track. Highly recommended. Looking forward to the next!
