Hello! My name is Karen and I am a native Spanish speaker that grew up in the Caribbean. I live in the United States for many years and my husband is Japanese, so I can speak English and I am a beginner in Japanese language. I love to help others, learning and sharing. I also love cultures a lot! I like to be kind and patient to others. Hola! Mi nombre es Karen, soy una hablante nativa de español y crecí en el Caribe. Vivo en Estados Unidos por muchos años y mi esposo es japonés, así que puedo hablar inglés y soy principiante en el idioma japonés. Me encanta ayudar a los demás, aprender y compartir. También me encantan las culturas muchísimo! Me gusta ser paciente y amable con los demás.

I have experience teaching children and adults to learn Spanish for some years, also I have experience teaching online! I enjoy teaching and helping others. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a TESOL/TEFL Certificate. As a teacher I believe each lesson should be interesting and fun; that way my students feel comfortable and enjoy the lessons. This contributes to learn faster. I like to adjust to my students needs.

Podemos hablar sobre cualquier tema de su interés, por favor no dude en cometer equivocaciones durante la lección; esa es la manera de aprender más rápido. Yo corregiré sus errores amablemente y así usted podrá mejorar su español rápidamente!

I very much enjoyed my class with Karen! She was very sweet and helpful with teaching and patient speaking with me! I like that she took notes in the chat for me on the things I didn't know how to say and I love that I can now look back at those phrases! I'm very happy with her lesson!
