日本語教師のKANAです。教育学部で日本語教育を履修しました。大学卒業後は、公立学校で教員として６年間勤務し、２０１８年からオーストラリアに住んでいます。学生時代は運動部で汗を流しており、いまでも体を動かすことが好きです。休日は、公園やビーチでのんびりと過ごすことが最近のお気に入りです。新しいことにチャレンジするのが好きで、オーストラリアに来てからコーヒーにはまっているので、バリスタの勉強を始めたいと思っています。 My name is KANA and I teach Japanese. I studied how to teach Japanese to non-Japanese speakers at university. After graduating from university, I had worked at public school for 6 years. Then I have been living in Australia since 2018. I like doing exercise. I often spend time at a park or a beach just chilling on the weekend. I would like to study Barista lately, because I have been interested in coffee culture after coming to Australia.

オーストラリアにて、プライベートとグループで日本語を教えています。「楽しく学ぶ」が私のモットーです。生徒のレベルや目的は様々ですが、一人ひとりの目標に到達できるように私も工夫をしながら、授業を作っています。成長していく喜びを一緒に感じながら、楽しく授業をしましょう。 I teach Japanese in private and group lessons in Australia. My motto is “Learn with fun”. Although everyone has different aim and level, I will do my best to help you to achieve your goal. Let’s learn Japanese together with the joy of growth.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

基本的には、テキストやニュースの記事など、教材を使って授業を進めていきます。ただし、生徒によって「読み・書き・話す・聞く」の身に付けたいレベルが違うので、希望に合わせて授業を作っています。フリートークのように、教材を使わずに授業をすることもあります。宿題についても同様で、仕事や学校行事などで忙しさも変わってくると思うので、話し合いながら有無を決めています。そのため、授業スタイルは人それぞれです。 I usually use textbooks, articles and news in the lesson. However, different people have different target level of “Reading”, ”Writing”, “Speaking” and ”Listening”. Therefore, I make the lessons to suits each person. We can have lessons without materials if you want such as free-talk. Since homework also depends on how busy you are with work or school events, we decide it together. For these reasons, the style of lessons is different each person. No worry about it.

Kana-san is honestly the best Japanese teacher on italki. She's fun to talk to, she's very engaging and her explanations are on point. I can't believe just how much my Japanese has improved ever since I've been studying with her. I'm now able to sort of explain myself, and build longer, more complex sentences. Whereas other teachers I tried on italki occasionally haven't been able to give me exactly what I needed, Kana-san keeps challenging me and helping me improve and move closer to my goals. Perhaps the best part about the lessons, though, is that I'm always having fun and I never get frustrated. So I'm really grateful for having found Kana-san and I hope I can continue studying with her :)!
