Hi my name's Debora. I'm an English teacher from Italy. I live in a small town in the north of Italy called Reggio Emilia. I have lived for extensive periods of my life abroad, in particular in London where I did my University studies. Teaching English brings a sense of purpose to my life as it allows me to tap into my creativity and help people achieve their goals at the same time. I love foreign languages and in fact I am also a fluent speaker of French and Spanish besides English and Italian.

I have been teaching English for over 20 years both in classrooms and online and I’ve worked for several language schools in Italy and abroad (Madrid and Brighton). In 2018 I taught English as a lecturer at a local University (Unimore - University of Modena & Reggio Emilia) in the Faculties of Economics and Engineering. I got my Bachelor Degree of Arts at the University of London, Goldsmiths College London, than I got a CELTA as well as a TEFL as teaching Qualifications. I have also been working as a Cambridge oral examiner for KEY, PET and FCE exams since 2012. I teach all levels from A2 to C1 and I also do exam preparation for Cambridge and IELTS exams.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

In general, I teach using a communicative and lexical approach which entails a great deal of speaking practice and lots of focus on vocabulary and useful expressions. I always adapt my teaching techniques to my students' needs and also their learning style. When I plan my lessons I like to make them enjoyable and interesting at the same time so that students get to practice all language skills in a pleasurable and relaxed atmosphere.
