I'm Teacher Amy! I am British/Australian with a neutral accent that is easy to understand. I teach British and American English to students of all ages from many different countries and cultures. I am passionate about teaching and find it very rewarding. I love helping students reach their goals! I have been travelling for over 25 years and have discovered a love for Asian culture (and food!). I have lived in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and I now live permanently in the Philippines. When I am not exploring local food markets, I like to spend my time scuba diving in the ocean or hiking through a jungle.

I have over five years teaching and training experiences. Over the past three years, I have taught English online to children and adults at all experience levels. I have completed over 4500+ online lessons and have proven success in helping students achieve their goals. I also have additional experience in examination preparation, IELTS examinations and business/academic English. I have a Bachelor's Degree and TEFL Certification.

I provide personalised lessons that are tailored to meet your goals. I pride myself on my ability to teach both American and British English, whilst sharing my passion for expressive vocabulary and correct pronunciation. I understand the challenges and frustrations of learning a new language (I am trying to learn three new languages myself!). It can seem very challenging. With my passion for languages, I will help you learn in a fun, engaging and meaningful way that will help you express yourself and increase your confidence.

My daughter took her first class from Amy. It was good to have them speak in sentences and correct them if they were wrong. I also liked that she was using PPT to allow my daughter to participate in class. I hope I can have a lesson with Amy again next time.
