Hello, my name is Raeesa Khan and I am a 25 year old English teacher from South Africa. I have a Bachelors degree with Honours in Education, where I specialized in Foundation Phase Teaching as well as Online Teaching and Learning, and the Development of Online Materials. During my studies I also taught at different schools to gain practical teaching experience. I am currently learning how to play both the piano and guitar. I enjoy spending time outside in nature, and have recently taken up yoga. I also enjoy a bit of gaming in my free time. I am friendly, easy-going and always striving to be kind to those around me, and help whoever I can.

지도 경험

I studied for 5 years at the University of the Witwatersrand where I received my Bachelors degree with Honours in Education. My specializations have geared me in the following ways: Foundation Phase Teaching - I am able to start teaching from the very basic levels of the English language to much more advanced levels. Online Teaching and Learning - I know exactly how to structure my lessons within an online environment for optimal benefit to my students. Development of Online Materials - I can fully develop my own teaching and learning materials which I will use during my lessons. I am very patient and understanding. We learn best from our mistakes, so don't be afraid to make them.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

I will structure my lessons based on each of my students needs. Whether my students want a structured lesson or a more informal conversational lesson, I can provide both, and anything in between. I like to spend a few minutes in the beginning of each lesson to recap what was covered in the previous lesson. At the end of each lesson I will also issue additional homework for my students to complete in their own time to help reinforce what they are learning. I encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible to ensure that they understand everything clearly before moving on. I believe that learning should be fun and I want all my students to feel comfortable and enjoy our lessons.

I guess my childern had the 12th lesson with Ray today. They were happy and enjoyed the lesson again. They dont feel beeing pushed and stressed. I can clearly recognize their progress in understanding English after three months. I hope we keep going forward :-)
