I believe it is extremely important to build positive relationships with students. Doing so leads to a far more relaxed and productive environment for myself to teach, and most importantly, for students to learn. Listening to student aims, motivations and their preferred ways of learning allows me to adapt myself to be suitable for them. I am patient and understand the difficulty of a new language to an individual as I am a language student myself. I think a big point to focus on, is making sure I keep students engaged and motivated. I think it's important to remember that everyone learns in different ways. Therefore I truly believe, that I must be adaptable to different ways of teaching. One student might be a strong visual learner, while another might learn better through oral practice best. These factors are of huge importance to determine my teaching style. Flashcards for learning vocabulary, music/ videos to improve listening skills and lots of conversational practice to improve speaking, are techniques I use regularly and that students enjoy. Most importantly, making sure lessons are interactive and motivating are a main focus.내 수업 자료

English teacherDuring my ongoing employment with Itutor, it has been my job to deliver lessons to a wide range of students. With each student having different capabilities, I have helped them improve their skills. Such as, their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions.

English TeacherAfter becoming qualified with my CELTA certificate, I quickly gained students on a one to one basis. This experience allowed me to prepare lessons specifically for individuals depending on what they wanted to focus on. This has given me experience of lesson planning and practice of catering to different levels of English.

Volunteer teaching assistantThis role included helping prepare materials, helping students in class and assisting on class trips. Volunteering here gave me the enthusiasm to become a qualified language teacher.
