I've been a teacher for 15 years, both in a classroom setting and online. Over the years, I have had wonderful opportunities teaching diverse group of students from different countries. I have become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lesson, which accommodate various levels, bring a hands-on approach to learning, and keep students interested and focused. My lessons are based on the skills and interests of my students. I assess my student first, talk about his/her goals in learning the language then decided on which materials to use. After each lesson, I give assessment and commend every progress made. A copy of the lesson is sent before and after the class to make sure that he/she can prepare and review the topics discussed. Today's class was extremely beneficial. We start having small conversations in Tagalog based on the words and phrases that I have been taught over the week. I really enjoyed it and learning how to actually formulate my sentence structure through actual conversation. I really walked away today feeling better about my learning as I was doubting that I was really learning anything.
