I’ve been working with Yasuka for a couple of months now and am feeling more confident in understanding and speaking Japanese everyday, the lessons have quickly become a highlight of my week. I am always impressed with her ability to foresee where I will have difficulties as a native English speaker and guide me through them. I highly recommend working with Yasuka if you wish to learn Japanese and have fun along the way.

I had such an Interesting lesson with Sensei Yasuka. I learned a little about Japanese grammar. I can't wait til my next lesson.

Yasuka is awesome! I've now had a fair number of lessons with her. I'm the kind of person that wants to know the "why" of things, and she always has the answer, which helps immeasurably in the way I learn. She also returns homework at least a day before your lesson, to give you time to read it over beforehand. Additionally, she is kind when going over mistakes while still explaining everything. Over time, she has gotten a good sense of where I am in my studies, which has helped shape how we progress in each lesson. If you're looking for a native Japanese speaker who has an excellent teaching style and an unassailable grasp of grammar, look no further :)
