Hello こんにちは! My name is Yuko. I speak and teach standard Japanese (Tokyo dialect) but I can also speak and teach the friendly Kansai dialect (around Osaka). I recently spent two years living in Canada studying English and teaching Japanese and right now I'm traveling around the world, meeting new people and getting to know other cultures.
**My passion is thinking of fun and engaging ways to teach Japanese! **
Being able to relax and have fun is the most important thing when learning a new language – it allows you to experiment, it motivates you to learn more, and studies show that you will retain more of what you’ve learned. So you can enjoy yourself while really improving your skills! 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I am available for students of all levels who want to learn Japanese.
★Professional Japanese Lesson★
Basically I use Genki text book.
If you don't have the book, don't worry. I will share my screen!
I prepare each lesson for my students with specially tailored learning materials.
<Example>
30minutes lesson: Grammar× Listening, Speaking, or Vocabularies
60minutes lesson: Grammar× Speaking× Listening× Vocabularies (About 15minutes each)
★Japanese for kids★
This lesson is for 4 to 10years old kids.
Your children will not feel he/she is STUDYING Japanese. I will teach them through playing.

I choose Yuko Sensei as my first iTalki teacher. I was very nervous to start with iTalki. I was very happy with our initial lesson. I found her to be very kind, supportive, and encouraging. More importantly, her professionalism was evident as she effortlessly guided the conversation into learning and training, and in fact took me through my first Genki I textbook and workbook session. I really was impressed she was able to integrate conversation with textbook education. Meccha Ookini Yuko Sensei!

Yuko worked with my 6 year old daughter and was absolutely amazing! The purpose for the lesson was to improve on her "Japanese conversation". Yuko knew exactly what to say and ask to encourage my daughter to speak Japanese with her! She even taught her a cute song.!!! Yuko's has a wonderful personality, great for kids and adults who want to learn the language. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!

My first lesson with Yuko was wonderful! She established what my goals are and used that to plan the lesson. She asked how I best learn and memorise to give me practice techniques and was very clear in her explanations. Overall it was great and I look forward to continue learning!
