Hi, thank you for clicking on my profile. Before you read my introduction, I want to wish you a pleasant journey for your studies ! :) Enjoy ! I’m Stacey, a native mandarin speaker from mainland China. I graduated with B.A.Literature from a university that specializes in education. Meanwhile, I am an experienced tour guide. I have been traveling throughout China since I was 15. I have many interests such as music, literature, art, psychology and history. I also worked as a copywriter and a casual singer. I’m open to all cultures from the world. Always ready to be inspired. ;)

I'm a certified Mandarin teacher who have been teaching for more than 5 years. I love joking and encouraging my students to be creative while learning. ;) My schedule is always open for you to ask any questions. Please, feel free to give me suggestions or advices for our class, too. :))

I almost never leave comments but I'll do one here. Stacey is probably the best language teacher I've had for any language, ever. She reviews vocabulary, gives various sentences, understands my horrible Chinese, and explains complicated grammar so much better than anyone I've ever seen. Her knowledge of English is incredible and that's why I think she can explain. nuances of grammar and discern how to convey the idea on a native level rather than just use the Google translate word or even just stop with 1 example. Because I've learned multiple languages, I think I have a better understanding of how to ask about a wide variety of contexts to make sure that I *really* understand how to use it, and Stacey gets it. She is an incredible teacher and you would be lucky to have her. I recommend her to all my friends all the time.

Stacey was great and this lesson was exceptional, as usually. We talked about language learning and she was really good at describing new words, merely using Chinese that I understood. I really value her for her personality, patience, and understanding when I struggle to say things. Top grade teacher and an even better human being :)
