Accent CoachBeing an accent reduction coach with an established central London company like Pronunciation Studio has helped me hugely, as I have met and worked with all kinds of non-native individuals of varying nationalities and from the corporate, finance, marketing and even entertainment industries. Pronunciation Studio even funded my training with UCL to earn my Cambridge IPA certificate.
2015 - 2016
English language teacherWorked as an ESOL teacher, and taught students at all levels of English, from A1 to C1, including the preparation for internationally recognised exam classes, namely IELTS. I was also invited to give talks on teaching pronunciation as part of a career development program for the teacher staff itself.
2008 - 2014
English language teacherTaught ESOL to students of all levels and age groups (teenagers, young adults, to mixed ages). Taught exam classes including IELTS, FCE and CAE. Taught groups as well as one-to-one students.

Nicholas is simply excellent! I have a 9-year-old son; I hope he can be a great speaker. At the first assessment lesson, Nicholas was able to immediately capture the attention of my son and go through some vowels and consonants. I think these are very helpful. More importantly, Nicholas was able to identify the weakness of his/and even my pronunciation and came up with remedies. I hope we can continue with Nicholas in the future.
