Hi, I'm Ryan and I'm a TEFL qualified English teacher from Vanuatu, living in Sydney, Australia. We have 3 national languages in Vanuatu (English, Bislama, and French). The majority of the population are anglophones, or at least speak English as a second language. I learned to speak Bislama when I was growing up. My parents enrolled me to high school and university as an international student in Sydney, Australia, and this is where I still live today. I'm self studying French and now Spanish, so I understand the difficulties that learners of foreign languages experience and I can share some tips and tricks that I use to learn to make my experience easier.

I am invested in my students' language learning journey. I want to create a comfortable atmosphere where my students feel like they can express themselves freely without fear of making mistakes. Once this is established, learning becomes much easier. My goal as a teacher is to have my students feel more confident when speaking and also improve their understanding when listening to spoken English.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

For new students, I will firstly have them introduce themselves and tell me a bit about their life, so that we can determine their level and language goals together. I will then be able to prepare the classes that they want to have and that will make them progress: - We will talk about subjects that they are passionate about - I can fill in any gaps with vocabulary - We will have conversations that allow them to hear how the English language is used in everyday life - I can provide instant feedback - I can also provide advice and materials specifically related to Business English The goal here is to have a good time and have them learn English in an interactive and stimulating way.
