I am currently studying a PGCE Postgraduate degree in Education at the University of Winchester. I also work for a study holiday company called StudyHoliday-co-uk which organizes 7 day holidays in the U.K. specifically designed for language learners. I enjoy reading, mostly biographies and often about musicians. Favourite fictional authors include John Steinbeck, Richard Bach, Joseph Heller, Jack Kerouac, Bernard Shaw, Voltaire, and Woody Guthrie. I also like music a lot, of many different genres, and sometimes even use songs for teaching too.

I am a TEFL Qualified Native English Language Teacher with over 14 years teaching experience, both from the classroom and as an online tutor. I have a clear and disciplined method for teaching English grammar. I studied at Winchester College, MGIMO, and UCL. I have taught English as a Foreign Language to children and adults, and I have also taught Business English.

I can help with grammar, reading, writing, and speaking, and this can be achieved in variety of ways depending on what we decide will work best for you. In any case I am happy to help.

Richard is a reliable and friendly teacher who can professionally explain nuances and aspects of English. Working with him together we fixed many problems in my speech and writing. We worked together for 6 months in order to improve my language skills for the IELTS exam. He uses very good IELTS preparation materials, which made me feel comfortable when taking the exam. As a result, I successfully improved my overall IELTS score and achieved what I wanted. Thank you Richard for your lessons. Studying with you was really fun and informative.
