I do not have a degree in teaching, but over the last two years in China, I have taught myself Chinese (with the help of italki). I have taken over 400 classes on italki in both Chinese and Spanish, so I know what works.

My classes focus on conversation practice only. I do not provide homework or quizzes. I also record the classes (using Zoom) and can provide you a recording of the conversation. I will also edit the conversation into a short podcast (called Talk like Americans on iTunes and XimalayaFM) so that you (and others) can hear more details about how to improve.
