Hello, I am from Germany and a native German speaker. I have lived and worked in Spain and the UK, so I speak English fluently and have an intermediate level of Spanish. After many years working as a flight attendant I have visited most countries and have experience with many different cultures. I am currently teaching full-time until August 2021, when I will return to a "normal" job. So I have plenty of time at hand. Please - send a message before you book a class - book a 30 min class if this is your first ever class with me - Video calls only, no phone calls. Thank you.

지도 경험

I like to teach beginners (A1 to B1) and help them make their first steps in German or English. I am very patient and supportive, so there is absolutely no need to be nervous. It is your class and we create it as useful and fun as possible for you! I have a 150 hours TESOL certificate and more than 4 years of experience teaching German.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

Relaxed conversation on Skype or italki classroom. We can practise pronunciation, read texts, do grammar exercises, or simply chat. I take notes, so you don't have to. Feel free to use a dictionary in class. The more advanced you are, the more you need to "work" during class. I very much recommend to prepare conversational classes by reading a news article or watching a video, so we can talk about that. In my experience with over 1500 hours of teaching, students who do prepare their classes improve very quickly. Only Video calls, please.

It was so great to have another lesson with Christine again! She is such a wonderfully supportive and friendly teacher, and she has helped me so much to improve my confidence and speed when talking. I've noticed that I can now speak German with others in a much more natural and effortless way which has made me less nervous to practice outside of our lessons, too.
