My name's Álvaro and I come from Seville, Spain. Ever since I spent a whole year in England as a teenager, I found it fascinating to be able to communicate with a person of another culture in their native language. I liked it so much that I kept learning English on my own, and once I reached a high level, I realized one language wasn't enough! I then started learning German and I can happily say I also reached a high level in that language. I've been living in Austria now for 3 years, so I've also been able to pick up some subtleties of the language one can only learn by experiencing life in the country. I recently realized that two languages weren't enough, so I started learning French!

Due to the fact that I'm a language learner myself, I have got to know how the process of learning a language works, and how difficult or frustrating it sometimes can be. Luckily I know various tricks to overcome those barriers! I have experience teaching Spanish, German and English. I love to be able to help someone improve their skills in a language!

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

As I once was learning those languages and now teaching them, I found ways to help my students improve their language abilities as well as explain certain grammatical points in a way that is comprehensible. I'm a believer in conversation: by using the language is how one spots their mistakes and can improve them. If you need help with any area, be it vocabulary or grammar, I'm more than happy to help you!

I have run out of compliments for Alvaro as a teacher. Having learned different languages Alvaro understands what kind of difficulties a language learner might face. Alvaro knows all the struggles language learners face – he is, after all, a polyglot and an experienced language teacher – he is able to adapt his teaching style to his students' needs. Álvaro is a very good teacher, He was very patient and was always ready to help me when it is necessary and let me speak in German as much as possible and whenever i request him to repeat what he said slowly or request him to write them in Skype, he readily did that for me. For me this is all i ever need from a teacher and i am sure i will be able to improve my German a lot with his help. Looking forward to our next class.
