I've been teaching Spanish to primary and secondary school children for 10 years and since 2016 I've been teaching Spanish online. I teach all language levels from A1 to C2, for all kinds of situations, tailoring each lesson to each student. I design lessons for improving the academic Spanish language (school, university…), teach how to develop business presentations, as well as preparing students for job interviews. I think the best way to learn a language is using conversation topics from day to day which challenge the student. Of course grammar is needed but, beyond that, the most important thing about learning languages is the will to communicate with other people. When you need to organise a thought or a point of view, this is when you really improve your skills, your vocabulary, the use of your grammar, intonation and pronunciation... Nando es un gran professor. El elige muy buenas temas y las charlas son interesantes. Siempre es puntual, preparado, positivo y sus correcciónes me ayudan mucho. El hora pasa rapidamente y yo disfruto y aprendo a la vez.

Sixty or so fantastic lessons with Nando, and counting! Nando is a great teacher. He provides material (videos, articles) in advance, so that in each class there is a topic to discuss, and some learned vocabulary / knowledge to use. He actively guides the discussions and prompts the student to speak. I am impressed with the breadth of his knowledge, and his energetic and affable manner. Along the way, he will tell you about Spain, its history, and its people, all of which I really appreciate (my father emigrated from Spain many years ago). He takes notes and will correct you at the end of the class, which has the benefit of not interrupting the flow of the conversation, but at the same time ensuring that you learn and improve. I highly recommend him!
