I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Teacher Education in 2013 and graduated with flying colors from one of the top universities in my country. I took and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in the same year. I've started my teaching career after graduation, and I'm currently working my way towards earning my master's degree in Education. Hi, Teacher Rain here. I am a licensed professional teacher. I have been teaching English for more than 10 years now. Most of my students are professionals, and teens. I can teach beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. Aside from my experience in helping my students prepare for IELTS and TOEFL, I know the books that can target the areas you aim to improve.

Before I had my bachelor's degree I am a volunteer teacher for 5 years in primary, for kids ages 3 to 11 years old. I am also an English Mentor for Communication for adults ages 18 years old and above from 2019 - 2020, and a TEFL certified. Teaching English for 2 years as a tutor in a face-to-face class.

My goal as a teacher is for you to feel comfortable speaking English and Filipino. I specialise in accent reduction and pronunciation, and I always adjust my speaking speed to my student's level *For no shows* : If you would not show up or if you're late, I would give you a grace period/make up class or I would extend the time (for you) since you have 2-3 days to confirm the lesson on iTalki- no need to reschedule the lesson. If you would not attend the make up class then I would have to either report that the student did not attend or I would have to charge you

As a teacher, I firmly believe that teaching is not just relaying information or giving lectures within the four corners of the "classroom" (or computer screen) so I make sure that each class is interactive.
