Hello! My name is Aina and I am professional online Spanish teacher. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, DELE examiner's diplomas at all levels and a broad experience as an E / LE teacher.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 8 years in Italki. I teach Spanish from A1 level to C1 Level. Usually, I use as guide the book "the ultimate Spanish review and practice and also, resources from internet as videos, songs, photos, and information about Colombian cultural and tourist places.

I really like to teach and I enjoy helping people of all ages to improve and accomplish their goals! I consider myself a very patient person and I think that's a key element if you want to teach a language to other people.

Me encanta la lengua española y enseñar, por ello, me licencié en Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Málaga, hice un curso de Didáctica del Español como lengua extranjera y actualmente soy examinadora oficial DELE, ya que tengo una amplia experiencia preparando a candidatos para los exámenes DELE de español. Estudio inglés e italiano , lo cual me ayuda a comunicarme con los estudiantes que tienen aún un nivel básico o principiante de español y a entender las dificultades propias de sus lenguas maternas. Tengo mucha paciencia y mi experiecia con público de todas las edades me ayuda a desarrollar unas clases amenas y divertidas.

I have worked in the direction, coordination and dictation of Spanish classes as a foreign language in different Spanish schools for seven years. I have also been in charge of the organization of cultural and tourist activities, and the promotion of Spanish programs in Buenos Aires. Then I continued teaching as a private tutor. In total I have more than 10 years of experience. I am also the author and editor of various teaching materials for learning Spanish as a foreign language.

Both my parents were teachers so I guess teaching is in my blood. Whenever a student reaches a goal, speaks fluently or passes an exam, it makes me so happy and so proud of him/her. It's as simply (or complicated) as that. As a student of many other languages I know the struggles the students go through, so my job is not only teaching the language per se but also identifying these obstacles and help the students tackle them

My proposals are flexible and adaptable, there is no one way to get there. I establish a good work climate, enthusiasm and good vibes. Establezco un buen clima de trabajo, entusiasmo y buena onda para que el alumno se sienta cómodo porque corrigiendo todo el tiempo se inhiben y cuesta más lograr que avancen. Tomo registro de los errores que cometen para a partir de ahí ayudarlos a mejorar. Comienzo las clases realizando un repaso de lo último que vimos. Me fijo mucho en crear un vínculo y en captar su interés, en lo que necesita porque una persona se va a animar más a hablar sobre los temas que sabe.

I'm friendly and enthusiastic. I try to improve student's Spanish level but I try to give then confidence for talking even if their Spanish is not perfect. Spanish to me is my life, I teach, I write and I research in Spanish, so I intend to show this passion into the class.

I prepare DELE exams, conversation lessons, grammar, etc. I´m specialized in adults and teenagers students.

My classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I do my best to make them as fun and interactive as possible :) The most important for me is that my students can gain confidence in their speaking skills. My teaching approach is based on multimedia resources such as videos, songs, images and audio files. During our first interview, I will test your level to provide you with pedagogical materials adapted to your needs. I also work as a DELF test examiner. Soy una persona muy paciente, curiosa y sociable, me adapto con facilidad a los diferentes perfiles de los demás, tengo un alto sentido de responsabilidad y al mismo tiempo cuento con la flexibilidad suficiente para adaptar la planificación de las clases a las necesidades de cada alumno, me gusta hacer las cosas de manera organizada y programada, y pienso que, gracias a mi empatía, buen humor y simpatía te ayudaran mucho a atreverte a hablar con soltura y sin miedo 😉

Another way to sabotage your language learning is by not practicing. You need to practice during and after the lesson, making it in a way that doesn't feel like a heavy load in your already busy life. 10 pages of homework is unnecessary. Short and simple does the job. Boring lessons can make you lose your motivation because language learning is one of the learning subjects that can be very fun to learn unlike math.
