Non insegno ai bambini. I will guide you in learning. I will put at your disposal my skills, my experience and my knowledge of Italian and Sicilian (I also studied Latin and ancient Greek). I don't teach children.

I like to share my culture as much as I like to learn from other cultures, which is why I started to give private Italian lessons to foreigners of every level and from all around the world. I like to understand what my student's goal is and find the most effective way for us to reach it together. In my experience, in order to learn a language, it is very important to speak. I worked in Manchester to improving my English skills; I worked as a teacher in a technical school (1 year); I have been working as a private teacher for 5 years. I worked as a touristic guide in a famous cellar in Sicily: cantine Florio. I worked in a private school “Antemar” and I taught "italian for business".

I've being teaching Italian to foreigners for four years already. If you are a beginner, we'll adopt a structured approach, using the most efficient materials available. Intermediate students will benefit from a wide variety of engaging activities which will help you understand and speak the language. We can use textbooks, newspaper articles, Youtube videos, podcasts, songs, poems and pictures. We will work on your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, speaking, listening and writing skills. Most importantly, everything we do will be based on your needs and preferences. Con me potrete imparare il dialetto parlato in Sicilia ancora oggi, la sua grammatica, i modi di dire, i proverbi ecc. Saranno lezioni divertenti, senza alcuna pressione: il dialetto si impara per passione e non per imposizione. Sarò la vostra compagna di conversazione.
