I am a fully certified TEFL and CTEYL teacher since 2017. I also have experience guiding students with their IELTS test preparation and received my IELTS certification in 2019. I have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced students. I love to motivate my students and make learning a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I always aim to make my classes comfortable and give my students the opportunity to express themselves and have more talk time, so they can build confidence and get to improve their speaking skills. I try to make my lessons practical, as well as personalizing them to each student.

With over three years of teaching experience, I can tutor all ages from beginner to advanced level. I can also teach across ages, that is, from children to adults. I will assist in Business English, Accent Reduction, Conversation English and help improve your grammar skills.

I have 3+ years of teaching and tutoring experience in numerous fields like Psychology, Social Work, and Criminology that is all conducted in English. I teach the Shona and English languages from beginner to advanced levels, and I am good at teaching all age ranges, from 10 to 50+ years old! I have taught Shona and English to persons at the high-school level and tertiary levels from diverse backgrounds. I am also currently a psychology tutor for university students, levels 1, 2 and 3.

I am flexible, patient and eager to share my knowledge with others. Mistakes are the fastest way to learn so do not be afraid of making mistakes. Think of me as a guide rather than a teacher as I will help you and encourage you to talk about topics that interest you, while covering the important aspects of language that you need to learn.

I am a C2 Certified Speaker. In addition, I am also TEFL Certified. I have a B.A. in English and Communication Studies. One of the courses I did under this program is Teaching English As A Second Language. I have experience teaching students from Indonesia, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Portugal and Zimbabwe, and Colombia. I have taught both pre-school and adults. I am currently a full-time English teacher in Colombia, South America.

I believe that learning should be fun and exciting. Therefore, I will try to incorporate some interesting activities in my lessons to keep the student engaged. I am approachable, relaxed and patient. I understand how difficult and frustrating it can be to learn a new language, that is why I’ll try by all means to be patient with my students. I’ll be able to adjust and move according to the student’s pace.
