I offer informal conversation lessons, in which I can teach you how to pronounce properly any Italian world you might don't know and how to become familiar with Italian grammar too. We can choose the topic of our conversation each time or just chit chat about ourselves.

I hold a Ph.D in Chinese Studies, M.A in Comparative Studies and I have 6 years of teaching experience at Chinese Universities as well as one to one tutoring in the UK. I have specialised in teaching to Chinese speakers who wish to study in Italy, to European professionals who work for Italian companies, and to retirees passionate about culture and travels. During my teaching experience I realised that text books and manuals are useful but not enough to deeply understand a language, to assimilate the structure and use it properly and brilliantly in any situation. I'll always help you reach the highest confidence in your own skills making you aware, at your own pace, that once we comprehend and domesticate the grammar and we create a solid vocabulary all we need is to remember that speaking a foreign language is always funny, fulfilling and incredibly useful!

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

Every time I meet a new person I am surprised by the richness that the comparison and encounter with other cultures brings with it and this has always been what has moved me to travel and explore other languages ​​and new forms of communication. I lived (apart from Italy and Spain) in Australia and in South East Asia for about a year where I was exchanging convarsation practice with other people from different countries. I speak Italian, Spanish, English and a little bit of French. They are all languages ​​that I have learned almost entirely by speaking, in everyday situations, by entering into relationships with other people and for this I believe in the power of conversation.
