Funny enough, when I was a kid I was repeating over and over that I’ d prefer to clean the streets than be a teacher since I was the teacher’s daughter. Never say never! It has started with some art and education projects that I was doing for underprivileged kids and teens in my neighborhood. Then I found a bunch of people with whom I have created a few beautiful projects that mainly you could summarize with a punch line: “Learning, exchanging, co-creating is FUN”. In addition, I have experience as an academic teacher and four years of experience teaching English all around Asia to all age groups and levels. And yes, I have TOEFL :)

I have some experience in the field of teaching. Sometimes, I help my friends and my brother so I'm not a total rookie. I have been teaching on Italki for the past three months now. I can connect with anyone and find out, what interests them the most. I had to learn a whole new language(German) to be able to study in Austria, therefore I know how hard it is and what to focus on. Of course I would adjust to your needs and wishes. Whatever type of learning you wish for, I can make it happen. And I would be happy to do it :)

To me, one of the most important aspects of learning a new language is confidence. I know speaking a foreign language can be daunting at times, and I want to help you improve both your skills and your confidence through conversations. My aim is to make you feel comfortable when speaking to other people: there is no shame in making the occasional mistake or asking someone to repeat themselves.

I have taught both English and Turkish in formal and informal settings. For English I have a book for beginners and can help you improve your conversational skills and reading skills by introducing new vocabulary and assisting you with pronunciation.

My approach is to offer students a comfortable environment in which they can make all the mistakes necessary to gain a high level of English. Mistakes are an inevitable part of learning a language so the important thing is to not be embarassed!

I have been teaching English for seven years to over 100 students in the UK, Australia, Spain, Thailand, China, Turkey and India. I have taught students from 5 years old up to Masters University level. I specialise in teaching essay writing, conversational English and IELTS and TOFEL exam preparation.

While I have no teaching credentials, I have great experience interacting with a lot of different people from various countries around the world. I know how to study foreign languages and can probably teach you how to learn a language more efficiently. As a tutor I can only show you the door to betterment; you must enter the door yourself.

I have 5 years of experience in teaching foreign languages field, and I believe the best way to learn any language is an immersion into it. So i let my students to talk a lot and improve their conversational skills instead of memorizing names of grammar rules. I hold a TEFL certificate from UC San Diego California as well as a Teaching English Grammar (TEG). Cureently working on my IELTS preparation certification. I have also been a conversation leader for international students in San Diego, California. I have been teaching both face to face and online, now more so than before for obvious reasons. I like to be able to help students enjoy their language learning journey as much as I did when learning a new language.

I have been an ESL teacher for almost 9 years. I have taught all levels, ages and most nationalities. I have taught at 7 schools. I first taught in Shanghai, China, but I prefer teaching international classes in my city, Toronto, because it is more interesting, dynamic and fun. I am very patient, intuitive and creative with my students. I will correct you after you've finished your thought, and I will teach you exactly what you need at the moment of speaking.

I am keen on learning languages and I know how challenging it can be sometimes. During the lessons, I want you to speak Russian or English as much as possible. But when something is unclear, I can explain it to you in English or German. During the sessions we will also study grammar and pronunciation, but our main focus is conversation.

I have years of teaching experience, teaching English as a foreign language most recently in Tanzania, the U.K and now here in Italy. I have taught in various environments, from formal school settings (teaching students the Cambridge International Curriculum at an international school: GCSEs, A-Levels, as well as CAE English Speaking tests), right through to more informal lessons teaching both in person and online, as well as teaching at international language schools, language centres and summer camps.
