Hello everybody. My name is Ivana. I am from Serbia. I know it might be "not so much attractive" to hear that someone is from Serbia or another Balkan country but the best thing about this is that I can teach you serbian, croatian, bosnian, montenegrian:-). I would say these languages are all the same with small regional differences and it is a kind of political issue that we all call it differently. I know that many people prefer native speakers, but it can sometimes be tricky. The native speakers are good teachers only if they are foreign langauge teachers, believe me. I also teach latin and italian so I think I could be a good choice for you:-)

Full preparation for TOEFL/IELTS speaking takes about 10 classes, and for Cambridge exams about 30-40 classes (depending on your speed). Throughout my working experience as a language teacher one of the important achievements was the fact that I was the founder of Catalan language course and its promoter in the cultural centre I worked for where my activity was related to the following points: ▪ Introduction to grammar and practical vocabulary necessary for fundamental communication skills ▪ Instill concepts of both Spanish and Catalan languages by introducing interactive activities ▪ Use structural methods and materials appropriate for instruction success ▪ Assess student accomplishments and work with them on weak areas

I started taking English classes when I was 7 years old. From that point on, I have continuously studied it. I began teaching classes informally when I was 15, continuing to this day. I have been teaching both adults and children, and have seen a drastic improvement in their confidence to speak the language.

I am an experienced instructor and native speaker of Macedonian. I have 20 years of experience in teaching, and in 2008 I began to offer online lessons. In my classes, I exclusively use materials in Macedonian, Serbian, and Croatian, as well as own personal materials. It is also worth mentioning that I am a strong supporter of the modern communicative approach.

I'm Serbian native speaker. I've been studying English since I was 9 years old and Italian since I was 11 years old. If somebody wants to learn and practise one of these languages I can help.

I don't believe there is only one proper way of teaching and learning so my teaching is adaptive and imaginative. As a little girl I learned English through cartoons, and at the age of 7 I already started learning English at school. My further education, Law school, travels and meeting people from different countries have helped me to understand various accents. Because of my passion of meeting people, learning their cultures and customs I have decided to start a new journey as an iTalki tutor. I have finished high school and right now I am at University of Sarajevo. I love my native language, Bosnian, and I would like to show you that this language is very interesting!

I have over one year of teaching experience on a prior teaching website, i have spent over 1500 hours of my life teaching during the last year. I have done all sorts of different materials during that time, because of that i am extremely adaptable in class. Before i started my career as an English teacher i studied Geography, that experience provided me with a wealth of knowledge of what challenges people in other countries face, as well as some of their unique attributes, as well as many potential examples that i can use to explain complex phenomena to my students.I was told by students on my previous website that i am very humorous and extremely good at making them feel relaxed.

I showed interest in languages when I was a kid, so I started learning English when I was 7 years old. Going on cruise ship improved and shaped my English skills.
