I have been teaching Turkish and English since 2014. I have lived abroad, worked in international organizations and taught languages both online and face-to-face.

I have been teaching Turkish since 2015. I received professional training in teaching Turkish at Istanbul Yıldız Technical University. Furthermore, I studied amateur theater, diction, and body language. My expertise is also in the subjects of cultural and street life of Turks. I can be your guide and helper with Turkish. I have worked with a lot of foreigners.

Well, my teaching journey started years ago in South America. I packed my luggage and decided to go to Lima, Peru and worked there as a teacher. That was when I realised that I was born to teach. It was an amazing experience to know that I was making a difference in my students' lives. I learned a lot of things from Peru. This was also the beginning of my love for South America. After Peru, I decided to go to Colombia as a volunteer and worked with kids and adults in a library. Now I knew that this was my dream job so I decided to take my CELTA and the pedagogical formation and I did Since than I have been working as an instructor in a university in İstanbul.

I've help people on italki with leanguage exchange program to improve their Turkish. I'm a patient and motivative person. Also as a tutor, I'm still improving myself on Turkish language with taking professional courses.

I went to a german Gymnasium and to a turkish university. I am a primary school teacher in Turkey. I am a german and turkish native speaker. I had many students in Germany and Turkey, which I gave extra courses.

As a person who's learned 3 foreign languages from a beginner to a proficient level, I'd like to say that it is an exciting adventure to new culture and the world! That is because when you learn a new language, you not only learn new grammar and new words, you also learn new culture and new way of thinking. There is a proverb in Turkish language: "You live a new life for every new language you speak. If you know only one language, you live only once". I've been working as a teacher for a long time. I have always been interested in education and pedagogy, therefore I studied sociology. After having seen so many difficulties in foreign languages I have developed a very easy and natural learning system which I call mother tongue learning system. All I do is telling a short story. Asking questions and helping you to give answers, and finally telling the story in the different versions. It is a kind of systematical exercise, subject to the level of the student. I use interactive materials with visuals and audios (images, videos, podcasts, songs, movies, animations, cartoons etc.) and make my lessons enjoyable and interesting without boring grammar rules. During our lessons I use an online whiteboard for writing and drawing and also utilize the visuals that I've prepared.
