I always push my students to talk as much as possible because practice is the best way to improve your language skills! I incentivise them talking about topic they are passionate about. I help my students improving their vocabulary, their grammar, their pronunciation. I want them to feel comfortable having a day-to-day conversation in french. I was working with teenagers giving support classes for 3 years, which provided me with qualities required to teach such as patience, creativity, and adaptability. It’s important to me that students enjoy what they learn. I like to teach in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere. I have always loved teaching, I really enjoy communicating knowledge and finding the best way to make the information as easy as possible and it is even something I can think of for my future career. As a teacher, I have had some experiences. I have been tutoring university students in different courses related to my field of study for 2 years now. I gave also french lessons to a german high-school student for one year. I do also have two younger brothers, who were and still my first and best students.

I am a primary school teacher (first grade) so I am used to teaching French and reflecting on the language. This has allowed me to take a step back from my mother tongue and to understand the ins and outs of it. Speaking is in my opinion the most important element of a language because it is what we will use to communicate and what we all (in general) spend more time getting comfortable with. Through role-playing, role-playing situations, discussions about a specific topic or current events, I like to bring in points of grammar and understanding of the language. Writing also plays an important role in my teaching and is always put in parallel with speaking.
