As I'll probably always be a student of languages too, I have some good advice to give you from my own experience of learning. I started teaching English since I graduated from secondary school on the side, and when I moved to London I graduated from CELTA in 2018. After that, I did some volunteer work as an English teacher and then I worked in an English Academy for almost a year in Central London. I worked in two English Schools in Spain and also in-company teaching business English, both online and face-to-face, for groups and one-on-one. I'm currently working in the public healthcare sector in London.

I started teaching English as part of my gap year travels by teaching students in government secondary schools in Tanzania. Later on, I successfully completed a TEFL course and I taught English on my integrated year abroad (as part of my university degree) in Austria. I started teaching again in Cologne in July 2018. During my time working as a professional musician, I was a singing teacher / vocal coach as well and helped many of my pupils gain confidence and focusing on joy in addition to technique. I personally think most people can do many things if they put the right mind to it and obtain the right mindset. It takes away barriers which can make learning things seem easy and fun.

Scrolling down my profile you may think I am new on italki because I have a zero history of students in most of the courses that I provide. But that is NOT true.I ve been teaching here since 2015 .And I used to teach a massive variety of English courses (Business E, generak E, toefl, job interview, ect). However, I had to terminate teaching for a year and turn off the class history. I was unaware that the number of classes that I gave , which was substancial, would disappear. So after I got back to teaching and made certain courses available again, there was an unpleasant surprise of having zero student history. Feels like I have to start almost from scratch)
