Hi! My name is Marta and I live in Birmingham, UK. I come from Rome, Italy and I decided to move to UK in 2016 after I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Languages, as I wanted to practice my English skills and start my working experience abroad. After nearly 5 years, I am proud to say that I definitely succeeded in improving my English, but without forgetting my native language and my beloved Italian culture. Hence, the reason why I decided to subscribe to Italki and share my love for my homeland with other Italian culture lovers!

Che tipo di insegnante sono

As already mentioned, before moving to UK I earned a Bachelor's Degree in "Foreign Languages and Cultures" and a Master's Degree in "Literatures and Intercultural Translation" in English and Spanish languages. While I was studying in Italy I used to teach privately as well to high school kids, to help them improve their English/ Spanish skills.

Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

I am a very friendly person and I love interacting with people. Even though I have never had a real professional teaching experience, thanks to my studies I am very familiar with the structure of the Italian language and its grammar. I am very organized and I will make sure every lesson is prepared before hand to better meet my students expectations. I will be studying alongside with you as well to ensure every single lesson is part of a bigger plan to really learn this beautiful language from the inside out. Thanks to Italki I will take this opportunity to also test myself and improve my teaching skills, so we can really make the most out of our time together!
