Hi, my name is Fel. I grew up and currently residing in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City; so my native language is Filipino (Tagalog). I finished my bachelor’s degree at Saint Louis University. I am a mom to a 4-year-old boy; besides singing and playing the ukulele together, he also enjoys learning with me. During my free time, I also enjoy my hobbies such as gardening, hiking, and reading.

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I am certified to teach English to speakers of other languages and have taught English online for a year. Through my trainings and experiences, I was able to greatly enhance my skills as a teacher. I have taught relevant English lessons from phonics to conversational English to various students. I also collaborated with other teachers in preparing lesson plans that target vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, and grammar. Through the years, I have learned to be patient and understanding. I also make sure that every student will feel comfortable whenever they attend my class and I do my best to ensure that my classes are interesting, engaging, and fun.

Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

My classes are different from each other since I teach depending on the needs of my students. Usually, I do continuous assessments starting on my first meeting with a student. Through the assessment, I am going to focus on the language weaknesses of each student. Through teaching, I am able to share my knowledge and ideas as well as get to know other people’s cultures which I enjoy the most. Seeing my students improve is very rewarding for me, so I am focused on helping my students achieve their greatest potentials and be confident to communicate in Filipino and English anywhere in the world. I believe that I can leverage my skills as a teacher in teaching the Filipino language as well.
