I have been teaching in schools and working one-on-one with students for over 5 years. Aside from speaking English, Spanish and Czech, I am also learning German so I know how hard learning a language can be :) I enjoy teaching because I like sharing information with people and helping them achieve their goals! And also learning more about the students I work with :) I believe that all of us are always learning, and even as a teacher, I learn a lot from my students. I try to make my lessons relaxed and personable. I am flexible with trying new and different teaching methods. My philosophy for learning a language is to talk, talk, talk, and about anything that is interesting to you! We will make the lesson fit your needs and goals (for example: to improve general speaking, work on business English, or to focus on grammar). There are also many ways to learn a language and we will find a way that works for you - through conversation, games or discussion (or even another way!). When working with me, we will talk about your goal, how you learn best, and then structure the lesson based on this.
