I am from one of the fine capitals of South Africa - Pretoria. I am 28 years old and my hobbies include dancing, gardening, travelling and cooking (I am a bit of a foodie). I have a passion for people of all ages, backgrounds and culture and I am incredibly fascinated about the unique ways of living life. My aspiration in life is to travel extensively and explore the different cultures (and cuisines) there is, thus I base my teaching online.

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I have been an Au Pair for the last eight years and have taught English privately during this time. I have managerial experience and have also taught English to foreign staff. I obtained my teaching certificate in 2019 and have continued to teach English privately since then. You can call me Teacher Asha. I teach students of all ages, with many different learning requirements, and I make it my mission to assist my students to reach their English language potential.

I believe we all learn in our own unique way, thus I create my lesson plan according to the preference of my student. It is important that I obtain information from my students about their English language skills (if any), about the areas within the language that they require assistance on and what their language goals are. This allows me to create a personalized lesson plan for them and as a result, assist them to reach their language goals. I try my utmost to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible and create a learning environment which best suits my student's preference.
