My name is Marissa and I am a bilingual South African. Mostly I love people, getting to know them and understand what makes them tick. I am friendly, outgoing and very understanding. I grew up on a farm and have always been in close contact with nature. My favourite pastimes are watching films and listening to music and I am also an avid reader of books. Life is about having fun and making the most of every situation!

I obtained a TEFL qualification (also known as Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I have many years of experience in corporate training. I am friendly, motivating and patient. I will be able to help you with reading, writing, pronunciation, intonation and grammar.

I am a firm believer in making learning fun for everyone and can’t wait to meet you to discuss topics you might enjoy. Each lesson will be specifically catered to each students needs and language level. Students are welcome to make suggestions for lessons and I will incorporate said suggestions in future lessons.
