I am a new teacher on Italki, but very excited to help you out with your Dutch and meeting new people. Let me introduce myself. My name is Soonie and I was born in Korean. I have lived there untill I was 2 years and then moved to The Netherlands. I have lived most of my life in Amsterdam and worked for 7 years as a math teacher. Before I became a math teacher I worked at a lot of different places. About 6 years ago I made the decision to move a little Island Koh Tao in Thailand. I work here as dive instructor. I love to take walks on the beach with my dog Jackie. In Amsterdam I used to play tennis. In my free time I like to watch movies, listen to music, watch and play sports.

Che tipo di insegnante sono

As a teacher I am patient, I like to help out others. I can help you with basic Dutch or more advanced. Teach you new words, how to pronounce then and if you want how to write them. A few years ago I helped my thai friend with her basic dutch. She had plans of moving to The Netherlands. I had so much fun helping her starting with the Dutch language. When she was getting close to her integration test, she moved to the city and had some profesdional lessons. She passed and I was very proud of her. I was very happy that I was there and helped starting with her Dutch.

During my lessons we can have conversations or start with the basics. That all depends on your level and that your goal is with the lessons. From numbers, colors to gramma. It us really up to you.
