As a teacher, I teach in the same way I would like to be taught when learning. I rely mostly on my own experience in learning new languages. I have different levels in the different languages I speak, which makes it easier for me to adapt the lessons to the level of the student since I know how it is to be at their stage of learning. I am patient and don't mind repeating a same things as many times as necessary for it to be understood. I believe that the most efficient way of learning is by practicing as much as possible without being afraid of making mistakes, because it is through them that we learn. My lessons are based on discussions that can be supported by different types of texts. They are based on chosen topics of interest. The lessons are personalized, as everyone has different aims and different ways of learning. They could include:
- Discussion about a chosen topic, with a focus on the vocabulary related to it;
- If desired, reading and writing short texts or sentences related to the topic;
- The use of documents such as images, extracts from novels or comic books, newspaper articles, poems;
- If desired, homework could consist of reading and/or writing a short text or phrases.
All lessons will be prepared nin advance, as we can agree everytime on the next topic to discuss.Il mio materiale didattico
