I live in Melbourne, Australia (the city where I was born and raised). When I was 18 I started travelling and spent a lot of my twenties travelling through Europe and other parts of the world. During this time I developed my interest in languages. After living in France, Germany (and England) I became a language student myself, so I am able to understand the difficulties students experience when learning a new language. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce at ACU I finished my CELTA in June 2019 and have been teaching full-time since. In that time I’ve been lucky enough to teach many students of different nationalities and ages (children to adults).

Che tipo di insegnante sono

I’m a friendly and patient person that people find easy to communicate with. My voice is clear and easily comprehensible. I have taught many different levels so I am able to easily adapt my voice to the level of the student. My accent is very neutral for an Australian (in fact many people think I’m British when they first hear me speak). I really encourage students to ask as many questions as they can. I can also teach you effective study skills and self study techniques.

Below you can see I offer many types of lessons to suit any learner. Therefore my lessons and style will change based on your interests and your goals. No matter which option you choose each lesson will be goal focussed and you will receive a lot of feedback. Regardless of whether the lesson is for grammar, test preparation or even just casual conversation practice we will decide on an aim and work towards it during each session. To keep my students engaged and motivated, lessons are based on topics that interest you. This is why instead of recycling old materials I create and find authentic materials that match your interests.
