I am currently a senior in college, and I am a teaching assistant for Japanese. I help teach Introductory Japanese as well as Intermediate Japanese, so I am familiar with how a course is laid out in a higher education environment. I have personally tutored many of my friends, family, and colleagues, and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Teaching people Japanese and English is one of my passions, and I would love to take part in the journey of learning a new language with you! Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I will maintain a friendly conversational style during my lessons! Depending on my students, I can tailor our lessons to help with grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Also, because I grew up in both Japan and America, I can relate to the culture from both countries. I would love to introduce new aspects of culture and media to my students. Through our conversations, the students will be able to have dialogue and conversational practice. For General Japanese, I will use Genki textbooks that we will go through together. I would love to teach students all the way from beginner level to fluency!Il mio materiale didattico

Just finished a package with Rei and I enjoyed every second of it! Every lesson we had a very fun conversation, and he was always seeking to help teach me new phrases and more natural ways to convey my thoughts! I definitely look forward to having more lessons with him in the future :)

Great first lesson with Rei. He clearly has a passion for teaching. He comes prepared with clear, concise objectives and is supportive and approachable. I would recommend Rei to anybody who wants to study Japanese language.
