I have several years of experience teaching students from the ages 14-18, right up to retirees!
I started teaching as part of my university degree, which resulted in me becoming a qualified English teacher in the Netherlands. I am able to use the aspects of my upbringing to my advantage when it comes to teaching English: I am able to understand what it takes to learn English as a foreign language, while also being able to share the subtleties of the language as a native speaker.
I’ve taught business English, prepared students for trips abroad and I have experience preparing students for Cambridge exams. Whatever your goals, I’m sure we can work together to achieve them. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Whether it’s exam preparation you need, a discussion about a recent news topic or you want to practise your English for an upcoming trip, I’m confident I'll have a lesson for you!
Because every student is different, I work with my students to make sure their goals and learning styles are the top priority. I like my students to have a say and suggest topics for the lessons, but I'm just as happy being in charge. The choice is yours!
Students can expect a nice mixture of conversation and a focus on grammar or vocabulary, with lots of feedback to help you improve.Il mio materiale didattico

By far the best lesson I've had. James was incredibly engaging, professional yet friendly, and a lovely person to chat to. He gives feedback at the end of the lesson, highlighting your strengths and also the mistakes that you made during the lesson, which you will of course improve. Definitely a teacher worth trying! :)
