I used to work in a Government shelter as youth care worker and psychical education teacher.
I had the responsibility for care and supervision up to 14 adolescents.
Supervision of youth who have behavioral challenges due to trauma and mental health issues that need close supervision 24/7.
Participating in individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures as requested by the Therapist.
Intervention using specific physical intervention training to help keep a child from harming themselves or others.

My lessons will be mostly dynamic and participative.

Great lesson and discussion with Andy!!! Andy is very patient and helpful, and his computer set up with a professional microphone means that his voice comes through very clear! I wish all the professors on iTalki took the same amount of care that Andy takes so that students have an easier time understanding and benefitting from the lessons. Much appreciated!!!

I had the pleasure to be Andy's first Spanish lesson on ITalki. Our session went great. Andy is very easy to understand and he has a great life perspective. I look for to taking more lessons with him soon and I am certain my level of Spanish will increase with his help.
