Hello! My name is Gabe and I am a native English speaker from San Francisco, California, USA, and I am currently living in Beijing, China. I have been a full-time physical education teacher for 4 years in the United States and I currently teach high school P.E. at Tsinghua University International School here in Beijing. I am a passionate Chinese learner myself, so I am excited to help you on your English learning journey!

I am a physical education teacher, so I am not technically trained as a language teacher. However, I work at an international school, so all of my students are currently learning English, and I teach P.E. in a way that is specifically designed for them to improve their English skills during class. Most of my students are Chinese, and I can talk to my students and do parent-teacher conferences in Chinese as well. After spending the last year learning Chinese, I am excited to transition into language teaching! Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Based on my own experience learning Chinese, I believe that the best way to learn a language is to have frequent conversations about topics that often occur in your day-to-day life. During our lessons, I would like to do free-talk sessions, during which I can do three things:
-correct your grammar
-correct your pronunciation
-add new words to your vocabulary (as they naturally arise)
This method is much better than learning from a book, because it is fun, interesting, and allows you to learn the language in ways that are relevant to you.
