I live with my young family in a little village in Manchester (England). I am a native English speaker with plenty of teaching experience. I recently spent two years teaching English at Manchester's EF International school to students from all over the world of all ages and abilities. I also taught English for a year in Spain, both as a tutor to individual students and in a Spanish secondary school. Before this I worked as a tutor in various places in England. I have a degree in English Language and Literature from Newcastle University, a CELTA qualification in teaching English from Manchester Academy of English and a Masters degree in Anthropology from University College London.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I aim to be friendly and helpful in my lessons. I hope that you will enjoy the lesson while your English improves. I am an experienced teacher and I always try to make my lessons varied and interesting. I will help to develop your fluency and communication skills; at the same time I'll work to identify particular areas of your English to improve together through error correction and more focussed exercises.
Just a quick note - I don't have teaching materials for children so if you are looking for a tutor for a child please find someone who is more of a specialist in teaching children. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to offer my students a range of different options. I can help you with this by identifying areas for improvement. Normally my students like to have a mix of different types of lessons. A typical student might want a fluency lesson one week, followed by a grammar lesson on a topic of their choice, then a vocabulary lesson. However, if you want to focus more on one thing, for example if you just want conversation practise, I'm happy to do that.

Philip is a super friendly person who has a special talent to teach people in an entertaining way.
If you decide to have lessons with him, you won't have single minute of boredom. He will also correct your mistakes so gently that you won't be embarassed.

Today we learnt about ways to form questions. Philips provided the lesson using a quiz format which was engaging and entertaining. Looking forward for the next class.
