I have taught English for 6 years. I love going deep into grammar, vocabulary, and the exceptions in the language. I also enjoy helping students with test preparation. I even do the exercises while I have coffee!
I like to teach functional language based on the student's needs. I started my career teaching children, but now I only teach adults. That's because my classes are more fun when I can discuss my student's grammar problems on a higher level.
I was lucky to have excellent teachers who inspired me in my career. Like Mr. Ramos, whose passion and enthusiasm made the lessons enjoyable and fun. He always explained things with a smile, and I aim to be that kind of teacher every day. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to involve the student in the learning process by asking better questions. I also make sure they practice the lessons learned immediately with fun, interactive exercises. I leave all corrections for the end of class. This lets my students speak with confidence and have a more dynamic class.
I make grammar fun by using famous movie scenes to study grammar in context. Modal verbs in 'Alive', conditionals in 'Benjamin Button', and phrasal verbs in 'Back to the Future' are some of my favorites. I also love the challenge of creating custom lessons for my regular students based on their interests.

Language TeacherI taught children English in a classroom setting. The groups were a maximum size of 10 and there were no books used, so I learned how to manage a classroom and create my own lessons and activities.
2015 - 2017
Language TeacherThis was my first experience teaching adults, teaching one-on-one, teaching test preparation courses for FCE and CAE, and teaching online. I learned how to work with books, projectors, and presentations. Most importantly, I learned how to transition to online teaching.

Language TeacherI'm surrounded by a much higher quality of teachers and I've learned a lot working alongside them. I continue improving my ability to teach adults and help them prepare for tests.
