-I've been teaching and translating professionally in many countries for over 10 years. Besides teaching language, I used to teach Aikido (a japanese martial art) in Tokyo.
-Since I grew up in both cultures, I'm pretty confident I can explain Japanese, from a native English perspective and vice versa. I often hear that people can't explain Japanese in English, b/c of their lack of English. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
-Beginners are welcome!
-I feel the best way to learn a language is "repetition". It doesn't matter if you had good grades in school or not. If you are motivated and are willing to put some time in, then you are way ahead.
Thru using an established textbook, I can help you slowly gain confidence in a language by using a variety of activities, drills, dialogues, etc. I also assign my students homework every time, which definitely helps reinforce what is being learned.
