Estudié periodismo, por lo que tengo buen dominio del idioma español, correcta pronunciación, buena ortografía y un amplio vocabulario. Soy una persona paciente y respetuosa para hacer las correcciones necesarias de manera asertiva.
I studied journalism and worked in national newspapers and magazines In addition to being a native speaker, I consequently had to develop a specific professional proficiency in the Spanish language, with good pronunciation, correct spelling and an extensive vocabulary. Propongo practicar el español a través de la conversación, adaptada al nivel y los intereses de cada estudiante para que las clases sean más animadas y útiles. Para estimular la fluidez en la conversación y el manejo de nuevo vocabulario uso técnicas como desarrollar juntos planes para alcanzar objetivos, lo cual obliga al estudiante a pensar y expresarse en español sobre temas de utilidad en su vida.
I propose to practice Spanish through conversation, adapted to the level and interests of each student so that the classes are more lively and useful. Another excellent lesson with Norma! She is an experienced and fun teacher with a wealth of knowledge on various topics from culture, sport, music, politics etc. which means the lessons are always interesting and I'm able to improve my confidence and abilities in speaking and listening. She always has great recommendations from Spanish language music, movies, Netflix or podcasts based on my interests to practice between lessons with and talk about too. Recommended!

Norma is great! She is incredibly intelligent and has a very engaging personality. She is also extremely diligent with providing feedback and concise explanations! I highly recommend her to every student!

Simply the best teacher. I’ve been working with Norma during the entire quarantine (classes almost every day), and she has improved my Spanish SO MUCH. I owe her a lot. I have and would recommend her to anyone trying to learn Spanish, anyone that wants a teacher that works with your ability. Very diligent, prepared, and quite knowledgeable!
