This has been my 10th lesson with Elena and I am very happy with my progress. The format is very structured with the use of a textbook which enhances the learning process. I am able to retain a lot of vocabulary and get through the next lesson since the teaching format is repetitive and builds upon the prior lessons. I look forward to my lessons with Elena every time. I took 4x5 lessons in Silver Age literature with Elena and it was great all the way through. She was always well prepared, on time and very patient with me when the Russian language got stuck in my throat! Thank you very much again, Elena!

Elena is a very attentive and accomodating teacher, the educational material she uses is great and when I struggled with my micro she let the lesson last longer than planned to compensate for the time lost. She's a great teacher whose ability to use French, Russian and English within the same sentence helped me a lot. I would recommend lessons with her to a friend who wants to improve his russian.

It was a fantastic lesson as always. Recently I have become interested very much in the aspects of grammar. Currently we reviewed the Genitive Case in all it's forms, and Elena was kind enough to make an excellent review of the Genitive Case for me at my level of understanding. We went through many different drills throughout the lesson and used some tables to reinforce the concepts. The format and presentation was excellent. I felt more comfortable in understanding the Genitive Case and when it needs to be used. I really appreciate all the hard work that Elena puts forth into all her lessons, she is always prepared, punctual, reliable, friendly, and a very pleasant teacher to work with. I always have a great time in these lessons and Elena makes them really fun for me. Always a pleasure. Thanks Elena!

Today we reviewed the difficult Genitive Case in the Plural Form. It was good practice with the exercises and the Tables. It's more rewarding learning the grammar at this stage of my Russian Language Learning as it has a lot more meaning. Recently, I felt I should have paid attention to the grammar in more detail earlier, but I think the timing works out just fine, as I did learn a lot in retrospect. Thanks for accommodating all my requests and creating the specific lessons for my particular needs.
