I have been an ESL teacher for almost 9 years. I have taught all levels, ages and most nationalities. I have taught at 7 schools. I first taught in Shanghai, China, but I prefer teaching international classes in my city, Toronto, because it is more interesting, dynamic and fun. I am very patient, intuitive and creative with my students. I will correct you after you've finished your thought, and I will teach you exactly what you need at the moment of speaking.

I have been teaching for 4 years, I'm proud of the experience I have accumulated and I think working online is the next step in my career growth. I started my experience by working in summer school where I taught international teenagers, then went on to teach in a Spanish nursery school. The following year, I worked in Egypt teaching adults and then I worked in Japan for 2 years teaching children and adults. During my second year in Japan, I became senior teacher in a school that taught children. This experience really enhanced my teaching because I became a lot more creative with the kind of activities I do and I started using similar games and activities with my adult students.

I have experience helping Latino immigrant children with their homework after school. I volunteered for a Latino community-focused nonprofit in Chicago over the course of a year while I was in college.

I love teaching. Every student is unique and has different needs and goals. I appreciate every single person who comes across my path. As a teacher I like my classes to be a safe, fun and comfortable space for the learner, no matter the age. I know how scary it can be to learn a language so I will be here to make the transition as comfortable for the student as possible. There are no stupid questions in my classroom, questions is how you grow so i encourage my students to ask as much as they want. I am patient, open-minded and efficient and if requested I can tailor a lesson plan for a students specific needs.

As a little girl I learned English through cartoons, and at the age of 7 I already started learning English at school. My further education, Law school, travels and meeting people from different countries have helped me to understand various accents.
