I have worked as a spanish teacher, but I have also worked in institutional schools. Because of my experience as a teacher and as a student, I can understand your needs. I'm an organized teacher who likes to use foreign language methods. I majored in linguistics and language teaching, so I know the basis to start up a good class. I have taught students from all levels. Don't worry if you just decided to learn this beautiful language or if you are at an intermediate or advanced level. My teaching skills will allow me to always come up with new and useful activities. Because I like to teach in a friendly ambience, I will always try to help every student, no matter what.

Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.

I discovered teaching when I was 23 years old and I've been doing it for more than ten years. I've taught in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe. I'm in love with the process of giving myself fully to the student and to the world. I've won many teaching awards including Teacher of the Year in an American high school and I've been featured in many training videos around the world. Students love how lively I am in the classroom. My passion is contagious and it creates an electric and dynamic atmosphere. I believe that we should train the mind to go further and learning a new language is a great way to do this. I know how to get results while making the learning experience memorable.

I have been teaching many students for three years, so I have already some experience in teaching. I am a very patient teacher. As a teacher I'm patient because I know that we all learn differently, I try to see how each person learns and what is most useful for each one, I like to be creative in my classes to find the fun in them, I like conversational classes because I know that communication is essential, but I also like to explain grammar, I like to see that the students see their progress and at the same time they are happy.

Since I was little I have always wanted to be a teacher so for me teaching is very vocational and I love my job. I have so much fun with my students that going to work is a pleasure for me. When I was a teenager, I spent many Sundays afternoons teaching my little cousins at my grandmother´s house and after that I started tutoring one of my cousins at his house. Once I finished my Teaching Degree four years ago, I moved to Utah to teach Spanish in a Dual Immersion school. I was supposed to stay only a year but I decided to stay two. After two years teaching Spanish in the US, I moved to Sydney to keep travelling and teaching Spanish as well and then to London.

I feel I'm a very intuitive teacher and I love to solve problems in the learning process. Most of the material comes from my own mind, I mean I analyze through lessons what things are difficult for students and try to find the best way to resolve in an easy way. I know how you can develop fast your listening skills, vocabulary learning, etc.

My Spanish lessons have CLEAR goals, unlike most iTalki lessons. Most students continue with a teacher until they get bored or realize they are not improving fast enough, and then they move on and repeat the process again with a new teacher.
