After graduation, I wanted to study more about other things. Then I've realized I have some talent for teaching because many people around me have said to me so. It's also true that I like to help other people, so I started to study 'Teaching Korean' to get certification for about a year. I've been teaching Korean on Italki for about 3 years and I have an experience that I tutored my friend and her daughter living in their country, Norway. Now I can say it's my full-time job which I really enjoy. I think I'm so grateful to have this job because it's always enjoyable even though when I'm tired.

I have a lot of experience speaking to and teaching people of all levels of Korean, from only a few words up to advanced levels, so no matter what stage you are at, we'll be able to have great conversations together where you can learn a lot. As a Russian student I know exactly how hard it can be to learn a new language but I also know how fun it can be. By learning a new language we get to meet new people and learn about different cultures and that makes it all worth the time and effort.

I have never taught someone as a teacher, But, there are many experiences of telling about Korean culture and Korean language to foreign friends. So I want to be an Italki teacher who can help to practice conversation in Korean together and share my thoughts. 저는 선생님으로서 누군가를 가르쳐본 적이 없어요. 하지만, 외국친구들에게 한국의 문화와 한국어에 대해 말해준 경험은 많이 있어요. 그래서 저는 한국어로 대화하는 것을 함께 연습하고 제 생각을 공유할 수 있는 아이토키 선생님이 되고 싶습니다.

1. 두 군데의 초등학교에서 담임교사로서 전과목을 책임감 있게 가르쳤었습니다. 2. 대학교 4년동안 초,중,고등학생들에게 국어,영어, 수학을 가르쳤었습니다. 3. 현재는 유학생 분들의 자녀들에게 국어를 포함해서 필수 과목들을 주말에 가르치고 있습니다. 4. 제가 다니던 컬리지 내에 랭귀지 익스체인지 프로그램에 참여하여 다국적 친구들에게 한국어를 가르친 경험이 있습니다.

중국에서 교환학생으로 생활했을 당시, 한국어 선생님이되어 중국학생들을 가르친 경험이 있습니다. 한 학기동악 약 200명의 중국인 앞에서 2시간동안 수업을 했습니다. 때문에 한국어를 가르치기 위한 자료도 있으며 한국어를 가르치는 일에 자신있습니다. 대화 뿐만아니라 체계적으로 한국어를 배울 수 있도록 하겠습니다. 현재는 교회에서 초등학생 친구들을 가르치고 있습니다. 약 4년정도 초등학생 친구들을 지도하고 있습니다. 더불어 수학강사로도 2달간 근무했던 경험이 있습니다.

I have many years of teaching experience,teaching different languages to people from different countries and different backgrounds. My lessons are customized for students. [For beginners], I usually start by improving my students' reading skill and then move to grammar lessons using grammar textbooks, pictures, flashcards etc..I assign homework. [For intermediate/advanced learners], the most focus here will be on your speaking skill and your ability to speak more in different topics (I will correct your grammar and pronunciation mistakes when it's needed).

저는 외국어 고등학교 재학 시절, 많은 유학생에게 한국어를 가르쳐주고, 동아리에서 외국분들에게 한국어 강의를 해본 경험이 있습니다. 그렇기에 한국어학습자가 한국어를 공부할 때 어려워하는 부분을 잘 이해하고 있습니다. 저는 여러분의 페이스에 맞추어서 한국어를 말할 것입니다. 혹시 이해가 안되거나 어려운 부분이 있다면 여러분이 이해할 수 있으실 때까지 정성껏 설명해드리겠습니다. 또한 일본어나 영어로도 가르쳐드릴 수 있습니다. 私は韓国の外国高校で留学生の友達に韓国語を教えたり、サークルで外国人の方に韓国語の講義をしたことがあります。それで韓国語学習者が難しいと感じる部分をよく分かっています。私は皆さんのペースに合わせて韓国語を話します。分からないところがあれば、みなさんにちゃんと理解してもらえるまで丁寧に説明します。また、私は日本語や英語で言い換えながら教えることもできます。 　 I have taught Korean to international students at high school. This experience made me understand how hard it is to acquire the ability to speak in Korean for foreigners. I will speak Korean at your level. - 선생님으로서의 자질: 선생님으로서 가져야 하는 자질은 부모로서 가져야하는 자질과 거의 비슷하다고 생각합니다. 그것은 친절함, 성실함, 그리고 인내심입니다. 이 세가지는 저의 인생의 좌우명과 같이 삼아온 것들입니다. 이 자질들을 바탕으로 많은 도움을 줄 수 있으리라고 믿습니다. - 저는 대학생, 대학원생 시절에 많은 학생들을 가르쳐왔습니다. 비록 한국어를 가르친 이력을 짧을지 모르지만, 가르친 이력은 깁니다. 사실 교회에서 학생들을 가르친 것 까지 합하면 (고등학교때부터 시작해서) 근 20년이 되어갑니다. 학생들을 빠르고 효율적으로, 물론 쉬운 길은 아닙니다만, 가르칠 수 있으리라 확신합니다.

I like to test lots of methods myself as I still consider myself a student to be able to decide which way would be better for the students to learn faster, whenever I practice a new way in learning I apply it with my students and I find this really helpful cause I always experience new ways.

Originally, I wished to be a English teacher. That's why I major in English. I like to meet people and chat with them. And I like to let them know what they don't know or want to know about. So, I taught many students from elementary school student to high schoolers since I was freshman in university. Besides, while I was doing military service, I taught English to one of my colleagues. Of course, not only English, I taught some Korean to foreign friends who met from university.

I am a fun, energetic and patient teacher. I am friendly and love to engage in different conversations. I believe that optimism and a positive attitude is the key to learning a language and that anything is possible if we work hard enough for it and have the right approach. I'm able to teach and explain vocabulary, idioms, phrasal verbs and grammar rules in both Korean and English.
